Eve Barnett, DNP, APRN, PMHNP, FNP
Eve is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, individualized mental health care to Jackson and neighboring communities. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Arizona, where she earned dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, along with a Rural Health Professions Certificate.
Eve has specialized training in trauma healing, substance use treatment, motivational interviewing, and integrative health, which has shaped her whole-person approach to mental wellness — one that treats mind and body as connected, not separate. She is currently pursuing her certification in perinatal mental health.
Eve has experience working in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, as well as adolescent residential treatment. She worked for several years as a nurse in intensive care and post operative recovery. Prior to nursing Eve worked as a river guide in the Grand Canyon and on the Salmon river, which has shaped her belief in the restorative power of nature and an active lifestyle.
Eve is dedicated to creating a warm, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered on their path to mental wellness.
